So the girlfriend and I were open to going pretty much anywhere tonight. We got caught in the always random and stressful bottleneck traffic at the end of Santa Monica Blvd by the water, so I said “screw it, let’s go to P.F. Changs.”

North Hollywood - Little Toni’s

OK, what you have to undestand is that I was brought up on pasta. If my husband wasn’t a cook, then I would happily boil pasta of all shapes and sizes and have an assortment of sauces (gravies for you purists) ready to go.

Wilco - Greek Theater (LA)
August 30th, 2007 · 2 Comments
Phe-Nom-Enal show by Wilco last night at the Greek Theater. Wilco pulled out a much more rocking set than I’ve seen them bring in previous tours. Also, going sober seems to have turned Jeff Tweedy into quite the sharp wit, man was more charismatic than I’ve ever seen before.

We here at LA Snark were big fans of this place for a while, I mean what’s not to love? Big goblets of beer, pool tables, and tv’s showing every baseball game. We even looked the other way when they had a few 10yr old birthday parties and it was 2 hours of […]

Can’t wait! I’ve been checking the recent setlists here and they look to be heavier on the rock and not as sleepy as the Ghost Is Born tour. I think we have Nels Cline to thank for that. We’ll have a full review of the show right here.

West LA - The Wine House
August 22nd, 2007 · No Comments
Possibly an unfortunate name for a place opening today (with Amy Winehouse stirring up the headlines with her dope fiend stories and all), the Wine House has opened in West LA at 2311 Cotner Ave. I’m going to need to stop in to review this place. Hours are 11am-6pm Monday through Saturday […]
