Sex Pistols frontman Johnny Rotten appeared on LA’s Indie 103.1 morning show this morning and ripped Simon Cowell a new one.
Rotten, who apparently has lived in Venice for some time now, said that Cowell is just being mean to sell a show and not to offer any real criticism. This of course is to separate Johnny Rotten’s “mean” schtick on Bodog’s battle of the bands show, where he plays the “mean (or ‘tell it like it is’, your choice) judge. He ended his comments saying that he’s surprised that Simon Cowell is a heterosexual.

johnny just realizes that the schtick he’s always had was made popular on prime time tv by some other dude and he can’t handle it
