I got my Van Halen tickets, did you? The (almost) original lineup of Van Halen lands at the Staples Center on November 20. The band recently performed a dress rehearsal at the Forum chock-full of all Roth era gems (Atomic Punk? Whoa!).

Sammy Hagar was quoted a couple days ago saying that Van Halen fans will be disappointed because Michael Anthony isn’t part of the touring lineup. He’s right. When I heard that the band was touring with Wolfgang instead of Michael Anthony I was definitely disappointed (I mean Michael Anthony IS the backup vocals) and I even said I wouldn’t go to the show. As of this morning, I have tickets, and after seeing the footage of the Forum rehearsal on YouTube, I’m excited to see this show.
