Well it’s another no-go year for the Cubs, but it has to sting a little less knowing that 
some kid wasn’t the reason they won’t be advancing another round. A lot of us remember good ol’ Steve Bartman (if you’re a Cubs fan there’s no way you don’t know that name, and there’s a good possibilty you just punched a wall.) Yes, the kid that stole the ball from Moises Alou made quite a name for himself, hell he’s has his own Wikipedia entry and he was referenced a Family Guy episode. Instant fame is great, but probably not the way he would have wanted to achieve it. BUT… what if you got a free HD tv and a boatload of chicken? That’d make things better, no?

An open letter to Steve Bartman:
As you know, the chatter about black cats, billy goats and curses has returned to the Windy City.
But like you (knock on wood) we don’t believe in hexes. And we don’t play the blame game. In fact, we’d rather lick fingers than point them.
