Olio live at the House Of Blues on Feb 18

Olio is a three piece rock/soul/pop band performing at the House Of Blues on Sunset – Parish Room on Thursday, February 28th, 2008 at 8:30pm.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at http://www.oliomusic.com.  A free 8 song CD will be included when bought through the web site.
Olio is a miscellaneous collection of musical or literary works.  A true example of the diverse American culture – from hip-hop to funk, soul to rock and a dash of pop.  Based in Los Angeles, California Olio features Arif on vocals and lead guitar. A truly gifted musician whose songwriting and guitar work is unmatched by most in the industry. He is also a wonderful t.v./film composer which gives expansive depth to this amazing trio. DeHaven, featured on drums and vocals, is all about playing in the pocket. Oh and by the way, he sings his ass off too! On stage his energy is incredible and he’s a true showman.  Then there is Bassist Matt Sherrell. As accomplished as you can get. Pocket and strength of groove is undeniable. Originally from ChiTown, he has brought his funkiness to L.A and specifically to Olio.
