Some friends called me yesterday to head out to the Sherman Oaks Spring Fest on Ventura Blvd between Kester and Van Nuys. This was similar to the annual Sherman Oaks Street Fair held every year for the last 16 years in Oct with the next event happening Sunday, October 18, 2009.
At the event were event with two separate stages with live music as well as singing and dance performances by local elementary and middle schools. Two international food courts and 100 or so vendors selling your typical Street Fair good from Art work to crafts, unique clothing, andmore. Petting zoo, pony rides, carnival games, children’s rides, and bounce houses. Plus the Scientology booth (only in LA) giving out FREE Stress Tests. The street fair is a great way to spend a Sunday with friends and family! If you missed this one be sure to attend the Sherman Oaks Street Fair October 21st.
