Terra Cotta Warrior Exhbit at the Bowers Museum- A Great Reason to Head to the OC

Terra Cotta Warrior Exhbit at Bowers Museum in Orange county CAOk museum lovers, here is a reason to head down to Orange County…The Terra Cotta Warriors Exhibit at the Bowers Museum in Santa Anna May 18 to Oct 16. I just booked my tickets today for July. Although this probably won’t be as busy as the King Tut Exhibit at LACMA in 2005, I’d book your tickets relatively soon as there are only six time slots a day, unlike the dozen or more slots they had available at King Tut.

Not familiar with the Terra Cotta Wariors? Dubbed as one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century, thousands of terra cotta warriors were buried with China’s First Emperor, Shi Huangdi, to protect him in the afterlife. I have been fascinated by this vast burial site since I first heard about it, and since we all can’t make it to China to see the original Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, the OC and it’s 20+ Terra Cotta warriors on display will have to do. Go experience a bit of history at the Bowers Museum in Orange county. Click here for tickets

The Bowers Museum is located at 2002 North Main Street, Santa Ana, CA 92706 with Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit running from May 18, 2008 to October 16, 2008, with the time slots of 10 am, 11am, noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm daily.
