Jennie Garth signs on to revive role of Kelly Taylor on the new 90210 spinoff, Tori Spelling in talks to revive Donna Martin

new beverly hills 90210 spinoff jennie garth tori spelling castAs we mentioned in a previous article, there’s a new Beverly Hills 90210 spinoff coming to the CW, and everyone is wondering what original characters will rejoin the show.

Jennie Garth has apparently signed on to play a recurring role as a school guidance counselor. This makes sense after her studies in psychology, working at the clinic, and well, being a part of that creepy guy in the wheelchair’s cult. Add to that the experience she’s had with eating disorders and drug use and she’s been around the block enough to help out those new West Beverly students.

Tori Spelling is in negotiations to revive her role as Donna Martin in the new 90210 spinoff, saying that she’d love to work with Jennie Garth again and have Donna and Kelly appear on TV together again. She also said that it was her father, 90210 creator Aaron Spelling’s, dying wish to see the show return to tv.

Jason Priestly has been reported saying that he would be interested in joining the cast of the new series if the role made sense. He looked back fondly on his years with the show.

Dylan is apparently still a no-go.  Maybe if you buy Luke Perry’s autographed picture he’ll reconsider.
