Doing some research on which beach to hit this weekend and came across this pretty cool website called Watch the Water that has live camera feeds from 24 live beach cameras from Northern Malibu to the South Bay and even Catalina Island. It looks like it was set up more as a Public Service Safety Initiative, but works pretty damn well to check out what’s going on at the beach, ie clouds, crowds, surf, etc. Check it out and plan your next trip to the beach or just look at it while you are board and day dreaming at work.
