Have I been living under a fricken rock? When did they decide it was a good idea to start filming another terminator movie 25 years later? I saw the last one, T3 and it sucked. It ended exactly where I thought it should have started, guess that’s why they can justify filming a fourth version. ”Terminator Salvation”, the fourth installment in the Terminator franchise, just announced by the Hollywood Reporter that Helena Bonham Carter could soon be joining the cast. Plus Christian Bale will be playing the title roll as john Connor…well hell the new Battman is one bad ass, he’ll be great for the roll.
Well by the time I got done reading this synopsis on IMDB, I quickly became a fan and am just praying it’s just as good as the original which I loved….from IMDB: Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor (Bale) is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet’s operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.
Now the question is can you wait til 2009 to see it?

I agree with you, the new Terminator movie should be terminated. The title “Terminator Salvation” sounds like he/it is being recycled!
Can Hollywood really not come up with new story lines/plots?
Heck the way things are going the next Rocky movie is going to be them putting his ghost in a ring to box.

Sounds like a good story line. And sure the special effects will be treat to watch. Just hope they don’t mess it up.
