I have been dying to go to one of these Hollywood Forever Cemetery Movie Screening for a few years now, but have never gotten around to it. I receive Cinespia’s weekly email list and most moves are the old 30′s & 40′s B&W classics like Giant, Cool Hand Luke, or Rear Window, all great flicks but not as exciting as this Sundays showing of 1983′s Valley Girl staring Nick Cage…now that’s more my speed. What better place to catch a flick in LA than lounging on the grass at a cemetery, chillin’ on a blank, glass of wine in one hand and your love in the other.
A few tips to follow…
- bring picnic dinner and drinks. alcohol is permitted.
- Ticket Price $10 donation
- Parking on the grounds is $5
- dj spins records before and after film
- Bring pillows and blankets (no tall chairs, BBQ’s, or dogs allowed)
