I just threw a birthday party for my 4 year old twins and we upgraded this year to a Combo Bouncer (bouncer w/ silde) for $150 from Awesome Bounce. We had a
regular bouncer for $95 from them last year . This company is the best, free included delivery. Plus last year we were able to pay extra at the last minute to keep the bouncer til 11pm for the adults to jump in since all the kids were in bed. I did a lot of research ahead of time and here are some top jumper rental places serving Southern California…
In LA:
- Awesome Bounce
- California Jumpers (Valley Only)
- Boomer Events Inc
- Party On! Rentals
In the OC
Sites to Buy Jumpers: Kid Wise Outdoors or Bouncers Direct
A few things to keep in mind when buying a jumpers. They cost about $500-$600 to buy, however if you are considering buying one keep in mind these things are a huge pain to store, and if they get wet (ie you use them for a water slide or it rains) they get moldy fast as you have to turn this giant 13′ by 13′ thing over to dry each side, plus Sun can wreck havoc on it. Friends at my kids party said they bought one and just threw it out cuz it got moldy and sun dammage after one summers ussage.

Awesome Bounce truly ruined my child’s birthday party. I ordered a combo unit as the main attraction, and on the day of the party, the called and said they could not deliver until after 1PM (vs.11AM as confirmed). The party was at 11AM and ENDED at 1PM. The man on the phone was not only rude when I nicely tried to explain the problem — but he was belligerent and very mean (think his name is Joe Ramsey). I asked to talk to his manager and he started YELLING AT ME!! This is the worst, most unprofessional company I have ever deal with. End result — no jumper for my kid’s party and a whole bunch of unhappy kids, parents and a lot of wasted money. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!! They are the WORST and they DO NOT CARE about you or your KIDS PARTY. They are completely unreliable and will show only up for delivery when they feel like it. . .

Scott, thanks for sharing your experience, as a parent that sounds like a nightmare scenario to deal with.
