Inspired by the wildly successful Nuit Blanche in Paris, this event takes its spirit from the fabled grunions that live in local waters and come ashore several times a year to spawn in the sand creating a momentary sensation of iridescence. Complimentary bike valet will be provided at GLOW and public is encouraged to park at the Civic Center Lot located on Pico Blvd. GLOW is presented by the City of Santa Monica in partnership with Bayside District Corporation, Pier Restoration Corporation and Santa Monica Convention and Visitors Bureau and is made possible through the support of generous sponsorship from organizations like the Norton Family Foundation, Santa Monica Arts Foundation, Starbucks Coffee Company and many others.
