It was a loooong trade deadline day today, and all eyes were on Manny Ramirez. As a Red Sox fan it’s odd to see Manny leave the Red Sox for Los Angeles, it’s like the guy is following me. As of noon today it looked as though Manny was either staying with the Red Sox or heading to the Florida Marlins. The trade deadline came and went without a peep, and a little over a half hour later it was stated that Manny Ramirez is on his way to Dodger Stadium.
I don’t think Manny realizes how many Red Sox fans got fed up with New England weather and headed out west.. if he thinks he’s moving 3000 miles away from constant heckling, he hasn’t heard anything yet.
Also, welcome to the Red Sox Jason Bay, prepare to see what a real sports town is like.
