August 7th, 2008 · 9 Comments

Just received an email about a new artist named Rami Dearest.  Rami was the lead singer for the LA based band, Something For Rockets.  He also happens to be the son of violinist Itzhak Perlman.Rami has been recording a solo record with the aid of producers Tom Biller (Fiona Apple, Jon Brion, Kanye West) and Mike Fratantuno (co-founding member of Black Eyed Peas and composer for Gossip Girl).

Rami just finished a new video for the song “Pictures on The Wall” and he will be appearing at the Troubadour on Wednesday, August 13.

You can see the new video and hear music at:

That’s my boy! You should all be paying attention to him. He’s been around for a bit and just needs that exposure to let people know how amazing his music and live shows are. Something For Rockets is one of my favorite LA bands, and I am so excited to hear what’s next for Rami.
