Pretty much the only good thing about SNL nowadays is Amy Poehler, so the fact that she’s leaving frees up a spot in my DVR cue.
Amy Poehler is reportedly leaving SNL because:
1. She’s pregnant
2. She’s going to be appearing in a web series called Smart Girls at the Party for On Networks.
3. She is apparently working on a sit-com of her own.
Time to bring Norm MacDonald back?

i have loved amy poehler since upright citizens brigade. i hope her show doesn’t bomb like almost ever other snl cast member’s show.

Aww… They’re taking all the fun out of this election. First, Hillary Clinton loses to Obama. Now Poehler is quitting SNL? This is a conspiracy against the Sisterhood of the Pantsuits.

I really hope that she can find success outside SNL, unfortunately I am afraid she won’t come across on her own show the same way.
