Is it just me or does it appear the the folks over at Twitterholic.com are Hard Core Republicans? Below is the proof, according to Twitterholic.com Digg.com founder Kevin Rose is top dog, however if you are an avid twitter user like LASnark you’ll know that President Elect Barack Obama ulitized twitter for his grassroots campaigning. Obama currently has 137,000 followers, while Kevin Rose has 75,000 followers.

One of us is, one of us isn’t. That’s not the reason he got dropped though.
The script, up until last night, wasn’t built using the twitter api. Back when we originally built the script, the api wasn’t available. Earlier this week we were whitelisted by Twitter and could start scanning users properly via XML (instead of the html scraping we were doing before).
Occasionally, the script would get wacky and randomly start assigning values of “1″. This would typically happen with each minor change Twitter made to their layout. Now that we’re API based, that shouldn’t happen anymore. We’re also adding a bunch of new features and will then ultimately clean up the design some.
