Best Massage in Los Angeles – The Massage Garage

I have never been a man that willingly goes into situations where I have to get naked and have a stranger rub me.  It’s just not something that’s ever been on my to-do list (though I did go to Tijuana for 20 minutes once.)  Then age happened.  I get knots in my back from just carrying a basket around Ralphs and I refuse to grab a shopping cart, there’s enough traffic in this city already.

I have been around the city looking for massages, usually going on various friends’ recommendations, and I always left feeling almost as or more tense than I was when I arrived.  Again, not a fan of the stranger-rubbing thing.  Then I found the Massage Garage on Main street in Culver City.  Actually, I think it’s right on the Los Angeles/Culver City line.  I declared right after my massage that it was the best massage in Los Angeles and I’ve been back several times to confirm this.

They have the works here, and it all goes with the Garage theme.  They work on your body like they’d work on a fine automobile (which is totally what my body is.)  I feel as happy as my Toyota feels after a trip to EZ Lube, only they don’t try to upsell me a new battery.  The staff is always great, especially when recommending which type of massage I should get.  Now that I’ve been a regular customer for a while, the massage therapists aren’t strangers anymore, so the whole strangers-rubbing-me thing is out the window.  On two different occasions I had to cancel my appointment and they waived my charge.  I like those Massage Garage people.

I have tried everything from a tune up to the full service.  I always walk away feeling like a new man.  I know I should probably just start pushing the cart around Ralphs, but then I wouldn’t have a reason to visit the Massage Garage again, now would I?
