  • What about the fat dude that paints himself silver and works the Santa Monica Pier and Promenade. I don't see how one can make a living doing it, but I have seen Silver Dude going on 13 years now. I used to work at a bar on the promenade where he'd come and buy a drink after a hard day of standing on 3rd street acting like a statue. Think these guys are affected by the struggling economy...where is their bailout!
  • Haha that's cool .. I thought he'd be like 60 or so, but apparently he is a bit younger. Well, as a streetperformer he's probably making 30$ an hour or so, if every minute 50c come in...
