We’re a little late on this ourselves, but we’re going to give you a couple tips to make you the hip person at work.
1. Britney is cool again. This really happened on her last album “Blackout” but was overshadowed by all the off-air drama. Piece of Me, Gimme More, Radar (my fav) were gold. Her latest, Circus, just confirms her awesomeness. I don’t care if you think she’s a subpar singer, as far as popstars go there is no comparing. Be glad that you live in the age of Britney.
2. Her new single, so fresh that it doesn’t have a video yet, is If You Seek Amy. Upon first listen, it’s Britney, not overwhelmingly awesome (though I love it and I promise I am a straight man) but if you get the hook it’s even better. Here is the information you will need to be that woman (or man that is cool with announcing he listens to Britney) that says “Oh you know what that title means?”
Here it is:
If You Seek Amy, when said aloud, sounds like F-U-C-K Me.
So while the lyric “All of the boys and all of the girls are begging to if you seek Amy” really makes no sense at all, it totally does.
Apparently soccer moms and radio DJ’s around the country are complaining about the fact that even saying it on the air is crossing some lines.

Here is an article from the Times Online that really flushes it out:
