Oh damn! 70-year old TV host Gary Collins was arrested Saturday evening on suspicion of drunken driving in Santa Barbara. He was arrested by the California Highway Patrol after failing a field sobriety test and later released on $25,000 bail. This dude was all over the TV back in the 80′s and 90′s, that dude hosted like 5 different game shows not to mention his appearances on sixty-four different television shows (according to IMDB).
Well looks like Gary has been killing time in his retirement with his new career in drinking and driving with his 2004 DUI in Malibu and his non-contest DUI plea 13 months ago. Way to go dip shit Gary Collins, what are you on the Kiefer Sutherland DUI plan. Looks like Kiefers got you beat with his 4 to your 2.5. HA HA Sucka!!!

i personally think it's terrible what we do to those accused of dui… we humuliate them by posting their names in the newspaper (and if they are famous, the internet) then we fine the hell out of them, they lose their license, etc. half the world drives over the legal limit but we pick and choose a few and humiliate them. i know it's all about public safety… i get it. have you ever talked or texted while driving? that could cause an accident too. not exactly the same but the end result could be.
