No one could have thought this could happen to two of the pop music industry's famous artists. They are both young and taken over by their impulsive emotions.

I was surprised with this news. It was on the radio when I heard Rihanna was left unconscious in the car after Chris Brown actually strangled her. I personally believe any girlfriend would become upset to find out that her man is possibly flirting with another woman. I hope for famous celebrities like them, they should be careful with their actions. People look up to them.

I don't support men and their flirting with other girls. However, when your with your woman, don't text. Keep your cellphones to your self. And to Chris Brown, man, you shouldve taken seriously the no-texting-while-driving law. You didn't get into a vehicular accident but it certainly made it worse than a train wreck. :)

Sooooooo...... how did Leona get Chris' number anyway? The boy shouldn't be passing out his digits to other girls. STRIKE ONE. Especially to someone who, apparently was so desperate she called IMMEDIATELY? (kinda like the Taco Bell commercial) STRIKE TWO. Then he gets pissed caused he is caught and called out by his girlfriend? THEN he beats the crap out of her? And runs off like a frightened school girl? STRIKE THREE. Chris Brown is OUT.

Gabriel, first of all, if you're so sensative, you shouldn't have gotten your girlfriend upset. Where does it say it's ok to make your girlfriend go nuts so bad she hammers you with your own shoes, but its not ok to hammer back?

So either you go back to her and apologize, or you go back, take off your shoes, and let her have it.

Regarding your statement:

I realize your attempt at making a joke siting the seeming irony between the no texting law and the assault on Rihanna, but I find it disturbing nonetheless. Abuse is a SEN-SA-TIVE matter, and should therefore, not be the foundation for INsensative jokes, puns, etc. Suppose YOUR mother or someone else that you love dearly had just had their face smashed in..... Would you still be in such a "humerous" mood? NO! Also, you statement seems to casually imply that the assault is somewhat the result of Chris' breaking a law on texting, instead of being someone bursting with rage and sub-human for beating on a woman. NO one -- especially women -- should be assulated for ANY reason what so ever. And I'm speaking from experience.
I once had a girlfriend who went off on me; hitting me, kicking me,.... She even beat me in the face with my own damn shoes! And you know how i responded? I just kept walking away until she finally stopped. And although I was pissed beyond belief about it, it NEVER once crossed my mind to physically retaliate. I just wanted it to be over and I wanted to leave. Thats all. And to some guys who may say that i'm a punk for the way I handled it: kiss my ass. those are the real punks who would dare to harm a woman.
