$40 for only 3hrs in the middle of the day? That is a misprint right?

Oh man, this is awesome. it’s about time we get something cool going on in the West side. that 3 hours though is weak!

Dave- sadly enough that is not a misprint. it’s 3 hours each day. It does seem a bit short. I am hoping the turnout will be great enough this year as to expand it next year.

I’m used to attending wine festivals and the standard there is 4 hours. With beer not being as strong as wine, 4 hours should be the minimum at this price.

That’s $40 per day…. and you only get 4oz cups of beer, too. Methinks you’ll be spending most of your time in line to get a beer.

I agree with everyone else $40 for 3 hours! BOO =(

$40 for 3 hours? What a ripoff! This sucks! Don’t go to this event.

You should learn something from Portland, Oregon’s annual beerfest. It lasts all day and everyone is satisfied. The limited time and participants guarantees that your customers will not get their money’s worth and will almost certainly be spending most of their time in lines for very small beers.
What a way to screw up a fine possible tradition.
That’s bald faced greed for you.
Good luck, half asses.

Is this an April fools joke? $40 for 3hrs. sample cups and standing in lines? who ever thought this through was a real smart guy.

I’ve been to other beerfests and this isn’t one. As other folks have said, this looks like a pay $40 to stand in line for some small samples. I think I’ll spend my time and money brewing a batch of BEER.

No thanks!
For that price, get to BevMo or Trader Joes or wherever and get gallons of sweet brews, and have your own beer tasting party at home.
(L.A. by and large sucks royal snausages, when you compare it to pretty much most any of the other major cities… ESPECIALLY when it comes to Beer. without trying really hard: http://www.oregongarden.org/Brewfest.htm http://www.matsonian.com/wcbf/tickets.html
