Looks like IHOP has taken a page out of Denny’s book when they gave out free grand slam breakfasts earlier this month, now it seems like IHOP is jumping on the bandwagon with their free short stack promotion, however there is a twist. You can only get your IHOP free pancakes by donating to the Children’s Miracle Network which supports local children’s hospitals. Additionally, unlike Denny’s 1/2 day promotion, IHOP will run theirs from 7am til 10pm. So get out there and carbo-load today! Brings new meaning to Fat Tuesday! Here is a list of the 16 IHOP’s in Los Angeles. Since 2006, IHOP has raised almost $2 million for children’s charities. Last year, they gave away 1.5 million free pancakes! On another note kudos to newsday.com who informed us about Nicky Hilton making a citizen’s arrest outside the West Hollywood pancake palace early Saturday morning. AWESOME!!!
