Time Warner cable blacks out Prop. 8 debate. Time Warner cable is going down hill fast! Last month the snark reported about Time Warner cable outages across the Southland. Additionally, the California Channel (C-Span for us Cali folks) Web site crashed. What’s going on people? Everyone knew this broadcast would be the biggest thing since slice bread and Time Warner cable and the California Channel couldn’t get their shit together for one LIVE broadcast. Well, Time Warner did donate a buttload of money AGAINST prop 8. Unlike Disney, Viacom, NBC Universal, News Corporation, etc. who obviously evaded the whole thing.
