Our friends over at Eat:Drink:Play are at it again with 2009’s installment of the LA Cupcake Challenge.
This years The baking gloves are coming off as dozens of LA’s best bakeries are squaring off and allowing you to pick the winner. Each bakery will display their best traditional and original cupcake for you to taste and judge. Sponsored by Nestle Nesquik, the event will also include coffee and Nesquik flavored milk to be enjoyed with 30-some cupcakes and a cash bar for wine and mixed drinks.
This year’s competitors include Susie Cakes, Hotcakes, Buttercake Bakery, Miss Priss cupcakes and Delilah Bakery among 20 competitors with submissions (among many, MANY, more) that include Pina Colada, Blackberries and Cream, Orange Creamsicle, Pineapple Goes Coconut, Lavendar, Mexican Hot Chocolate, and Sweet Potato Pie (in addition to traditional submission including Triple Chocolate and Red Velvet).
