Fritz Helder & The Phantoms - debut album release party - hosted by Nelly Furtado

Toronto based electro-pop outfit Fritz Helder & The Phantoms are celebrating the release of their debut album, Greatest Hits: Platinum Edition, with a hotly-anticipated performance at Cinespace on Tuesday, July 7th. LA Vegan restaurants - not so vegan after all

Our friend-in-blog Quarrygirl has posted an investigative report about so-called vegan restaurants in the LA area.  Turns out quite a few local dishes contained high amounts of egg and casein.   One of my favorite local menu items, California Vegan’s orange chicken (pictured to the right) was found to be high in egg.
