Just came back from the C&O Trattoria in Marina Del Rey. I won’t type much because I am seriously going to pass out into a food coma any second now. The portions are enormous, the food is rich, and Hell you can get a giant carafe of chianti and drink it on the honor system. Great food for the day you go there and for lunch for the following two days. Fans of unpretentious dining and the Rat Pack will especially love this place.
I ordered the gnocchi and the girl ordered the fettuccine. I’m on my quest to find the best plate of gnocchi in LA (see here, here, and here) and this was right up top.
Oh and as our server Adam said, go easy on the garlic rolls, they will seriously spoil your appetite (but be sure to load some onto your plate before getting your meal to go.)
