GLENDALE, CA — A Noise Within (ANW), the Southern California theatre company, today announced they will hold a garage sale on Aug. 1. Expect to find huge discounts costumes, furniture, set pieces, props, curtains of every size, and yards upon yards fabric.
“The garage sale is a home décor dream!” raves ANW’s production manager and coordinator of the garage sale, Rebecca Bailey. “We’re selling everything from gorgeous furniture pieces used in past productions, vintage prop knick-knacks perfect for decorating, and racks filled with clothing – men’s, women’s, and kids ranging from elegant vintage to the everyday to fabulous Halloween costumes.”
ANW is letting go of some of their best possessions in anticipation of moving to their new Pasadena location in the fall of 2010. They have raised $9.2 million so far in their capital campaign, but are striving to reach $10 million before groundbreaking this Sept. Profits from the garage sale go towards this project and tax deductable donations for the capital campaign and the annual fund will be accepted during the garage sale, as well.
The sale will be held on Aug. 1 from 8am to 2pm in the theatre. There will be a $1 admission fee, and cash is preferred for purchases, however, credit cards are accepted with a minimum purchase and subject to a service charge.
