LA band Million Dollar Mouth has been selected as a top 10 finalist for the Airwalk Unsigned Hero contest. They are being showcased on Airwalk’s site and they need your help. The winning band gets an all expense paid trip to SXSW to perform at the Spin Magazine showcase and $5000, which if you’ve ever played in a rock band is a total ass-load of money.
Million Dollar Mouth compares their sound to Muse or Queens of the Stone Age, and they’ve been together for six years. their music has been featured on various TV shows like The City, Party Monster, and most recently Khloe and Kourt go to Miami along with many others. They’re actively playing around the LA area and are about to release their third Album “The PanicKING” on September 15th.

I heard these guys a couple years ago at Molly Malone’s. Just listened to the clip on airwalk and they sound better than ever! They got my vote. Hope they’re Austin-bound, they deserve it.
