I’m not going camping in Griffith Park with you because I don’t want to wake up with a coyote chewing on my foot.

coyote-griffith-parkSorry, but it’s true.  The LA times is reporting that coyotes are making their presence in the park known.

The man said he woke up “to find a coyote biting his foot,” however “he was not seriously injured.”

NO THANK YOU. Now the polarizing debate is whether or not these coyotes should be captured and killed. I think we know Anthony Kiedis’ policy on this:

griffith park camping = check. just did an overnight tucked under brush off of hollyridge trail… it's not easy, or comfortable, due to excessive 'yotes n varmints – and lapd air patrols sweeping the hdub sign and surrounding areas with a nightsun irregularly and frequently. i've spent far more comfy ground-nights under the stars in serious bear country like sequoia and trinity. you just can't trust an urban coyote.
