It’s been 199 years since King Ludwig I started Oktoberfest with his wife-to-be Maria Teresa of Saxonia, but the tradition lives on, especially at the Alpine Village Oktoberfest, the largest and longest Oktoberfest celebration in Southern California. The event started on September 12, and it goes until October 25.
The event includes Omm Pa Pa brass bands, Woodsawing, Steinholding, Cow Milking, Food, Beer, the Chicken Dance and MUCH more!
