El Segundo CEO may be regretting joining Twitter right about now

Online community owners using Internet Brands’ vBulletin software are apparently not too happy with the way the company is handling the software they’ve been using for years.  Now, vBulletin site owners have a more direct route to take when complaining about IB than they had in the past. They are taking to Twitter and sending their complaints directly to the CEO.

From vBulletinSetup.com:

There we go, they’ve started handing out infractions on the vb.com forums for “non-constructive feedback”. I’ve tried many times now to explain that feedback is feedback, wether it be constructive or not.
It seems IB have their own definition of that term.

Viva social media, keeping the lines of communication open.

What is wrong with this company? You'd think that a company that owns so many communities would actually know how to cater to a community, but no. Absolutely not.

Thanks for the link to our site
It's really a shame IB is treating the vBulletin community like this, they could of handled things so much better.
