I only seem to walk by Whimsic Alley when it’s closed, but I always peek in the window to see what they have on display. It looks like 90% of their inventory has to do with Harry Potter. If you have someone on your holiday shopping list that is REALLY into Harry Potter, this would be the place to go. They have full on Hogwarts uniforms, robes, wands, and other things I don’t understand because I’ve yet to sit down and read/watch anything Harry Potter related.
What I always wondered is, how much does the owner of this store hate Twilight? I never saw anything Twilight related in Whimsic Alley, and I’m pretty sure if I owned this store I would be cursing every mention of this new tween/women in their 30’s who lust after 17 year old dudes hit series for stealing the Potterthunder. At the same time, as a business owner you often have to bow to public demand, and guess what… according to their website, Whimsic Alley now carries Twilight/New Moon related products. So if you picked that quiet girl who sits in the corner cubicle in your office gift swap, you know where to go.
