What’s up Snark?
A little bit of meta today. The site was down all day for some hosting reason.. they’ve been nice to me so I won’t out them like my previous web host. You didn’t notice the site was down? Well never mind then.
I watched the Patton Oswalt movie Big Fan
over the weekend. I liked it, and it seems others liked it too. Everyone seems to walk away from that movie with a weird feeling inside, but that’s a lot better than that “oh God why did I sit through that” feeling. I also watched the Superbowl. Next year it would be nice if they could get Cheap Trick to play the halftime show, at least their overplayed hits are still awesome. Who Dat? Some band.
Arriving from Netflix today I have True Blood, Season 1 Disc 1
which you said I’d like. I trust you, even though you made me go see Avatar. I also have The Carter waiting for me at home, which I am very excited about. I’ll watch anything that even resembles a Rockumentary.. this being a Rapumentary(?) I guess. I’ve never listened to Lil Wayne but I’m a fan of prolific musicians. It is possible that “musicians” could be followed by an apostrophed question mark in that last sentence but I don’t want to show my age. Arriving in time for the weekend should be Iron Maiden: Flight 666
which Bill Janovitz of Buffalo Tom recommended on his blog.
Oh and I earned the tactical knife attachment in Modern Warfare 2
. It took a couple days of pistol kills, but it was worth it. Oh, also I sprained my ankle and I’m using that excuse as to why I spent the entire weekend indoors.
