Thanks for dinner last night, that was something else. You know I pretty much live at Hara Sushi because of the proximity to my home and the fact that I can walk out of there uncomfortably full after spending under twenty dollars, but you also know that every once in a while I need to step it up and pay the price for your amazing sesame seed-covered goodness.
Also, thanks for not giving my fiancée and I weird looks while we combed over the menu whispering things like “I think that’s the one with the fish on top of the rice, I dunno guess we’ll find out.” We’re new at this, but we are enthusiasts and we’re figuring it out. Also thanks for not batting an eye when we both ordered large hot sakis. I don’t know if that’s normal but I’m Irish and I think it’s normal.
Thanks for including everything on one plate. Presentation counts, and when I see a handsome plate of sushi I forget that I’m in a strip mall between a Chinese restaurant and a pet fish store.
