How is it that all the rich and powerful stars are having twins nowadays? With all the money that these rich people are making, I’m beginning to wonder if they are mucking around with Mother Nature and choosing to pay to have twins (ie. In-Vitro) vs. it being the luck of the draw. Even going as far as choosing the sexes. We know that medical technology is at a point where you can genetically select your child’s sex, it’s incredibly expensive but definitely possible. Did Angelina Jolie and other celebrities go that far? I remember when they first announced Julia Roberts was having twins, it was during about the 10th week of her pregnancy and they announced her having boy/girl twins…well as any new parent knows…you can’t find out the sex until your 15 to 20 appointment. My first inclination is to say, genetic selection.

Now I know that the older the woman is, the greater her odds are of having twins, and all of these accomplished actresses are in their mid-30’s and 40’s, but every few months I see a new PEOPLE Magazine cover with a famous person and their twins I start to wonder. HMMM, hey if you got the money hu?
