I loved reading Generation Kill when it first came out 3+ years ago. It’s the best Iraq War book out there…and I read a few. I love war books and have read dozens of Vietnam books, (one of the best being Chickenhawk). Well HBO has taken the book Generation Kill and made it into a series premiering Sunday July 13. HBO has an awesome track record of making great TV, they have single handedly destroyed Network TV for me. After watching the Sapranos, Deadwood, Rome, and Entourage, how can you watch the crap the networks put out…you just can’t. This series is going to rock!
