[ad#inpost300]Well we’ve been waiting 14 years since the Raiders moved back up to Oakland in 1994, well we finally got a professional football team in LA, albeit the Lingerie Football League. Introducing the Los Angeles Temptation! What started out a few years ago as an edgy halftime show during the super bowl dubbed the Lingerie Bowl, has now turned into a national phenomenon. The Lingerie Football League kicks-off at Chicago’s Sears Centre Arena at 1PM PST featuring the Miami Caliente vs. Chicago Bliss. With the Arena Football League suspending the 2009 season due to the slumping economy, will this new league really be able to sustain itself? Only time will tell how many horny guys will be willing to tell their wives they are heading out with their buddies to watch hot chicks in skimpy lingerie smash each other.
The complete team list is as follows: Continue reading →

I have never been a man that willingly goes into situations where I have to get naked and have a stranger rub me. It’s just not something that’s ever been on my to-do list (though I did go to Tijuana for 20 minutes once.) Then age happened. I get knots in my back from just carrying a basket around Ralphs and I refuse to grab a shopping cart, there’s enough traffic in this city already.
I have been around the city looking for massages, usually going on various friends’ recommendations, and I always left feeling almost as or more tense than I was when I arrived. Again, not a fan of the stranger-rubbing thing. Then I found the Massage Garage on Main street in Culver City. Actually, I think it’s right on the Los Angeles/Culver City line. I declared right after my massage that it was the best massage in Los Angeles and I’ve been back several times to confirm this. Continue reading →

If you’re been reading this site for any amount of time, you’ll know that we’re big fans of Twitter. When we first joined we set out to follow everyone from Hermosa to Pasadena in order to feel as much of the LA pulse as possible. Apparently Twitter is not down with that, and won’t let us add any more Los Angeles area Tweeters.
Apparently the issue is that we’re following too many users and not enough people are following us. In order to fix this, we’re unfollowing everyone. We will however, be re-following everyone that is following us, and continuing to follow people that start following us.
It will be a pain in the ass unfollowing and re-following everyone, but we hope to keep in contact with all our fellow LA Tweeters.

Don’t do it. We would have avoided it if we could have, but we couldn’t. First, our West LA apartment consistently flooded during every rain storm. I love the sound of a trickling waterfall as much as the next pseudo-Zen-Buddhist, but not when it’s soaking my carpet and tv. With the pending rainy season, we knew we had to get out.
We found a place in sunny Santa Monica, just 8 blocks from the beach. Running on the beach, running and swimming at Santa Monica College, walking to the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market.. it all seemed perfect. Our quality of life would go up all around, we’d exercise more, eat organic food, and we’d probably even get a tan. We called Delancey Street to schedule some movers because I’ve only heard raves about them, but they were all booked up. I hit the Craigslist and found a listing for Movers For Less. They gave me a quote of about $270 which was about $250 less than most other movers were quoting. I scheduled, they showed up with two guys, they worked super hard and super fast and in the end it was like $260 for a move that took under 3 hours. We were very happy with their service and planned on using them again if we ever moved. Continue reading →
